Former Rider and shot blocker supreme Anthony McHenry [above] has resurfaced in Japan where he has signed to play for Ryukyu Golden Kings in the Japan BJ League, another ex Rider in Japan is Terrence Woodyard who is playing in the same league as Anthony with the Toyama Grouses.

One for real anoraks here................... yes its Derek Christiansen. One of Dave Harris' close season signings for the 98/99 season, Christiansen struggled badly and he didn't last the season as Riders only managed 9 wins in total. Derek now works as a Mortgage Expert back in his native Canada. Don't you just love the power of Google!

Mike Pegues spent a season in Argentina after leaving Leicester, he is now retired from the game and is working as a teacher back in Washington.
Deg Erskin left Riders last season [05/06], he has now returned to Texas where he is a High School American Football coach. He is pictured here in action for University of Texas.

5'10 PG Sims was signed by Billy Mims for the 02/03 season straight out of college, he was replaced by Tim Winn midway through the season however. Antoine has recently surfaced in the ABA where he is racking up some big scores for the Buffalo Silverbacks alongside former MK Lions speed merchant Modie Cox. Ironically, Tim Winn and Antoine were on the same roster for Buffalo until Tim left in August 06.

Simon Wyatt has e-mailed to ask about two of Billy Mims' signings from the 02/03 season, Tim Winn and Mario Porter.........
Tim arrived along with Mario Porter and he was a fantastic point guard with great vision and good range on his shot. After his spell in Leicester, Tim returned to the States with the Pennslyvania Valley Dawgs and more recently with ABA outfit Buffalo Silverbacks whom he left in August 2006.

"Super" Mario Porter was signed by Billy Mims in an attempt to kick start the 02/03 season, while Porter did try his hardest, it never really happened for the former Rider University standout. On leaving Leicester, Mario has since played in Portugal and France, most recently with Rouen in the French Pro A league.

Jonathan Holmes left the Riders on a stretcher after injuring his ankle towards the end of the 03/04 season. He then played a season in Denmark and he then moved to Canada to become assistant coach at Montreat College in 2005.

Geno Ford left Leicester along with Bob Donewald at the end of the 97/98 season and went into coaching back at Ohio University, he then coached at Shawnee State and left in 2002 to become Assistant Coach at Kent State in NCAA Div 1 through until 2005. Geno most recently was made Head Coach at Muskingham College in NCAA Div 3 [2005].

LJ won the 2000/01 Play Offs and National Cup with Leicester, he then left and returned briefly for a spell in 2002/03. Larry has since played in Lebanon for various teams, most recently with with Homentmen in 2005.
